Sony has decided to extend its offer of 50GB of Box.com cloud storage for life for new Xperia owners.
Until now, the offer was set to expire at the end of this year.
Now, all Xperia smartphones in the 2012-2013 lineup are eligible for 50GB of Box.com cloud storage for life.
If you’ve become a new Xperia smartphone owner this past year, you can take advantage of the free cloud storage simply by logging into the Box app from your device.
50 GB of cloud storage for life sounds like a great deal, but whether it helps Sony regain some of its lost market share next year remains to be seen.
